First changemaking experience: In primary school, I would tutor younger students who were struggling with learning to read. It helped me to see that I could play an active role in any system I was a part of, including education!
Spirit animal: Honey Bees – I recently became a beekeeper and am amazed by how much we can learn from these tiny creatures.
Issue passionate about: Creating education systems that young people are excited to be a part of.
Favorite family tradition: Throughout the year, we write down things we’re grateful on small post-it notes and put them in a Gratitude Jar. On New Year’s Day, we open them all up. It’s a great way to start the year!
